Head lice can be tricky to find if you've never encountered it before.

An adult louse is roughly the size of a sesame seed and can range from dark gray/brown to translucent. Baby lice (nymphs) are very tiny, roughly the size of a poppy seed. Their color ranges from reds, browns, and translucent.

I have a few images that may help in identifying them during a home exam. Call us if you need help identifying head lice or simply can't examine your own head. 402.504.0550
